Microsoft discovers Lean Marketing
Microsoft is undoubtedly by far the biggest marketing spender in the IT sector. Two nice examples of this traditional marketing approach are currently running ‘bulldozer ‘ campaigns in Belgium like UltimateMakeOver in BtoB and the WOW factory in BtoC.
However, in the US it seems that Microsoft has now also discovered the benefits of Lean Marketing: they have posted several Windows Vista videos on YouTube, featuring scenarios of people using Microsoft solutions in realistic situations. A new way of bringing their message and probably cost-effective. Nice!
